With the UK lockdown starting to ease and the sun starting to shine it Is great to see people starting to get out and about a bit more. Despite this we haven’t yet made it to the pub garden, but have instead spent a few evenings with family and friends in various gardens so life is starting to get feel a bit more normal and we are hopeful this will only improve as society starts to open up more fully. Seeing the first socially distanced fans in football stadiums for well over a year is also great to see. We have also both had our first jabs....a brilliantly organised set up at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol. With our second dose booked in for June we are Starting to think about when and if we will be able to travel to La Croix next. We had originally booked time to go in July but have decided to book a week in the Scottish Borders instead with a view to making a last minute trip to La Croix whenever we are able to rather than plan for a specific time. We are keeping up to date on the situation in France as well, which sadly is still seeing high case numbers but the vaccine roll out is now progressing so we are hopeful the situation there improves and all our friends remain safe and well. La Croix is open for bookings, restrictions permitting and we have reduced our payment timescales with the balance payment due just 2 weeks rather than the usual 8 weeks before your stay...we are also flexible with any last minute changes where we can be. Lets hope the World starts to control COVID rather than COVID control us 🤞
