Quarantine yo-yo!

Seems like France is off the travel list again for us Brits for a while again. It's such a shame as the holiday industry and in particular the gite businesses in the Loire were just starting to pick up with booking calendars filling up after the difficult few months of lockdown. We did manage a trip over to La Croix in July and it was beautiful. The sun shone all week and as well as spending time in the garden and sorting out some 'house' stuff we also visited some of our favourite places. We had some lovely cycles around La Croix through the fields full of sunflowers and always tried to end our cycle with a refreshing cool beer at the bar in Parcay. Our booking calendar from the end of July and into August has been pretty full although the new quarantine rules did mean some last minute changes to guests booked in. As ever we have been flexible and moved bookings to new dates. We have received some lovely comments in our guest book along with 5 star reviews on the booking sites. It is always great to hear how our guests enjoy their holiday at La Croix as much as we do. Despite the quarantine we are still open for business, with guests from France enjoying the house this week. We do have availability for the end of August into September and we are always happy to accept last minute requests as we know things are ever changing with travel plans being disrupted. To finish here are a couple of photos from our July trip.
