Loire - La Croix
We are continuing to keep up to date with both French and UK Government guidelines to ensure that we can offer all our guests a safe and enjoyable holiday whilst staying at La Croix.
Restrictions have recently eased but can change at any time, so please ensure you keep up to date with the latest restrictions. The French Government is continually updating its guidance and regulations. The following website is a good place to check the current situation before you travel.

Although we are starting to re-introduce some of the services we used to offer the following are changes that remain in place for the protection of guests and our gite managers.

-
Guest towels are no longer able to be provided and we therefore ask you to bring your own.
-
Bed linen can still be provided if guests request it but we would encourage you to bring your own if you can. All beds have 2 pillows for each person and they all have a mattress protector. We have 3 mattress protectors per bed so this will enable us to put a fresh clean protector on each bed during our change over process between bookings.
-
Where bed linen is provided we will not be able to make up the beds for your arrival. We will leave the linen on each bed. We ask you to remove all bed linen, including mattress protectors at the end of your stay and place in a separate bin liner to enable us to launder them safely.
-
Bath mats, oven gloves and tea towels will be provided but these must be placed into a separate bin liner at the end of your stay so they can be put straight into the washing machine without being touched. We have spare sets of all these items so that we can ensure we have clean ones available for your arrival.
-
We have had to temporarily removed some of our tourist leaflets and books from the house. We do offer free Wi-Fi and we have excellent 4G reception. All local attractions and activities can be found via the Saumur and Tours Tourist information sites, this will enable you to check opening times etc. Click on the links above.
-
All ornaments and cushions have also been removed temporarily for the same reason. We do apologise for this.
-
We usually ensure there is a supply of tea and coffee and some basic supplies to help you settle in and make yourself a cup of tea/coffee on your arrival. We will leave you a bottle of local wine for you to enjoy on your first evening.
-
We have amended our check in/check out times to ensure we have time between bookings to clean and air the house to help ensure the house is safe and ready for our next guests. Guests will be able to check in from 5pm and must check out by 9am on the morning of their departure.
-
When leaving the house at the end of your holiday all rubbish must be bagged and placed in the correct wheelie bin, all glass recycling must be taken to the recycling centre and all food, including all items in the fridge and freezer must be removed.

We do apologise for the changes we are having to make but by doing this we can ensure that you are able to enjoy a safe holiday.
